New this week.
January 18th, 2007 by xamountThis week, GameTap busts out the puzzle action. Stress yourself out with the Lemmings-like Chu Chu Rocket — or go slow and methodical with the thinking man’s Lode Runner, Pyramid Magic. This is one game where I’m very happy with our built-in save-game feature. No more writing down and losing weirdo passwords!
As for Buku Sudoku, this is the first non-paper-based Sudoku I’ve really given a shot and I gotta say: if this is your first Sudoku experience, do yourself a favor and turn off the hints and error correction. Talk about robbing yourself of a challenge.
Also, you might notice that there’s a GameTap client update on your way in. It’s super-minor, behind-the-scenes plumbing work. Think of it as a stage-setter for … the future.
New Games:
New on GameTap TV:
- GameTap News: Best of PC
- GameTap Tracks: The Hold Steady
- Sam & Max: Kitchen Consequential
- Sam & Max: The Tell Tale Tail
- SeaLab 2021: Legend of Baggy Pants

Soooo… what happened with Interstate ‘76 that I was drooling over in the emails?
You taunted us with it, and then… nothing! So rude!
(Seriously, I’ve been dying to play that again.

Thanks for getting Chu Chu Rocket. My Dreamcast died a year ago and that was one game I missed. Another that would be great to see is Floigan Bros. (if only because it was one I never played) Seaman would be good as well but I doubt it would be worth emulating the extra microphone hardware in game tap.

I jumped up and cheered when I saw Chu Chu Rocket on the list.

The microphone emulation idea is great Rob. Would be great nostalgia if they got Seaman. I really wish they would get Dreamcast classics such as Shenmue and Soul Caliber on the service.
