From the They Used to Be Secrets category, Codename: Skyranger is no more and The Game Formerly Known as Groove Champion got a Nitro Pack (still on the Interstate ‘76 fence? roushimsx has written up a persuasive overview and a great quick-start guide).
And I’ve got too many games to play.

Well the Sam and Max issue was repaired just as I was typing.
Also Arkanoid II for C-64 went up with no “New Game” banner. However, there seems to be something up with the way that loads too. It gets all the way to the actual title screen, then hangs.
At one point, I backed out and thumbed through the info card to see if there was anything else I needed to do to start the game. When I came back the first level loaded but none of the assigned keys worked.
All my other C-64 games are in working order though.

To add to the above: I’ve also dumped the game out of my cache and redownloaded with no success.
I was also going to make a do-over/doh-over pun right here, but I knew it would just stink up the joint. So I’m not going to.

Hate to add to the pun pile but: D’oh! Unfortunately, Arkanoid 2 still isn’t quite ready for release. It wasn’t supposed to go out today; it will be removed shortly.

Sam and Max is showing as a DL of 0.000 KB for me, and when I try to download it I get the download screens, but it never goes past “0%” and “Calculating.” Also, is it just me or do the numbers seem a little off on the infocards vs. the Account Storage tab?

Downloading the Nitro Pack right gosh darn now. Hopefully I’ll have it finished this weekend and will be able to add some more content to that I76 post.

I just noticed: only three games this week. What happened to the whole 4 to 12 games a week thing?

Legolas: They had 4 games planned but the 4th game (Arkanoid Revenge of Doh for the C-64) had some screws loose.
The week before was kinda heavy though. And this week I think will be too. In fact there’s MAYBE 2 extra games coming that were hinted at in previous notes about Racing Week (Interstate ‘82 which actually has a placeholder folder already and was mentioned in the January monthly, and TOCA Race Driver 3 which was on the list back when the week was first announced in the December Alert with the January coming soon games) Of course, these two may be pushed back, since they’re not in the coming soon list and they haven’t been addressed lately, but they’re coming at some point.

TOCA 3 would be nice, because its not carried in any store in Sacramento anymore.. as far as I looked.
