New this week.
April 26th, 2007 by xamountSo the final episode of this season’s Sam & Max is finally upon us this week. I gotta say, I’m mighty impressed that they kept to schedule. Nice work, fellas.
And while I want to be extremely sensitive to folks attempting to bypass any and all spoilers, I have to admit that when I finally got my naked knight past the pixelated, shrinking shrubbery, into the path of a bat, and able to strike down my third dragon, I was SO RELIEVED.
Oh wait. That’s Thunder Castle. (Btw, I actually was able to get into the titular Castle. At which point the game dynamic changes DRASTICALLY. Now you have to get through pixelated, shrinking brick walls and into the path of a rat before you can strike down a series of wizards.)

Great seeing Ep 6 come through, can’t wait to get started on it - after I finish 4 and 5.
By the way, awesome work on starting to get some of the Marquee Neo-Geo franchises on the way.

Still slowly working on the first Sam & Max episode (just recently started!), so it’ll be a while before I make it through the full season. Looking forward to some of those “coming soon” games….I may have to polish up my Metal Slug skills a bit and see if I can single credit clear it for maximum point fun.
can’t wait for both of the Panzer Dragoon games, btw. It’s been about a year since I last played through Zwei so I’m totally due for another run
(tied up right now with Kya: Dark Lineage on PS2, so it’ll be a lil’ bit before I mow through more Gametap titles
)

Metal Slug as a challenge game.

Huh, it cut off my reply.
I have to get used to a dual action gamepad now instead of a Wiimote.
This will be the third different control scheme I’ve had to learn for Metal Slug.

The sacrifices we must endure as cross-platform gamers…
But yeah, it’s a challenge game! Can’t wait.
