July 12th, 2007 by xamountThis week’s new games lean a bit toward the sharpened-metal-tends-to-slice violent side of things. Well, most of them. The much-requested and sequential-gap-filling Space Quest IV? It’s more about ripping time than flesh. (Get it? Cause of the full title? Huh? Ha ha?) Anyway, one fun fact about the 1991 Space Quest release: development costs ran over one milllllion dollars. That sounds like a ton o’ cash for back then. And while I played I-III, I never got around to this one. I wonder if I’ll get all the callbacks?

Would it be possible for you guys to say when new music videos are up? I noticed there was a huge addition of them today, but I never would’ve known unless I specifically went to the section like I did.
Also, what happened to Gametap Tracks for The Used? It’s completely disappeared now. >_>
With complaints aside, definitely downloading Metal Slug 5 and Bloodrayne from this week’s selections, and I’ll get around to Space Quest IV eventually (seeing it coming soon was what got me started on playing the first one, since I didn’t want to hit the series gap). Plus, the new Computer Lab was hilarious.

Soo, all these fighting games are going to inevitably lead to Capcom Vs SNK.. right?
