Without a Doubt.
November 8th, 2007 by dinahGameTap’s free games don’t get nearly enough love, but the guys over at Defunct Games are now doing a weekly article featuring what’s free to play on GameTap. And man, are they good. Each game gets a brief write-up, a link to a (sometimes) full review and recommendation on whether you should play it. While I can’t agree with all of them (Joust gets a “Probably Not”?), this is a weekly write-up you should not miss!

Yeah that person didn’t agree on most of the games I enjoy on GameTap.
Anyways you see that link at the bottom to TG-16..(cough cough)…all I want for christmas, ok well maybe full x64 support, but TG-16 games would be awesome.

The free games are not popular? That’s surprising…

^^ The free games are very popular - they just don’t get a lot of love *in this blog*. Thanks for pointing out the potential confusion.

Thanks for the clarification Dinah, and happy birthday! I’m browsing through their site as of now and they sure do have their share of oddities!

I’m glad they gave props to GameTap for also having new games. I think focusing too much on the retro stuff has been one of the big problems with the marketing for GameTap.
